DISTANCE CONTRACT
This distance contract (hereinafter - the Contract) is concluded between "The inner space" LLC, registration number: 40203660349, legal address: Riga, Antonijas street 16A - 13 (hereinafter - "Inner Space", or "we", "our"), on the one hand, and you - an adult, legally capable person (hereinafter - "You", or "user"), who uses the services of our website https://theinnerspace.online (hereinafter - "Website", or "site", or "platform"), on the other hand.
The owner of the website is Inner Space.
This Contract establishes the terms for accessing the platform and using its services. By accessing or using the platform, you enter into this Contract. Before starting to use the platform, carefully read this Contract.
The following terms are used in the Contract:
- • Specialist in the context of this Contract is a natural person with special knowledge, education and qualifications, who has registered on this platform as a service provider and who, depending on their education and qualifications, is entitled to provide one of the following services: psychological consultations, coaching (personal growth promotion) services, psychological help, psychotherapeutic help.
- • Session is one virtual visit or online video consultation with a Specialist, lasting 50 or 60 minutes (depending on the session duration specified by the Specialist), during which the Specialist provides the service and You receive the service provided by them.
- • Service is an individually and independently provided psychological consultation by the Specialist, or coaching (personal growth promotion) service, or psychological help, or psychotherapeutic help.
- • Platform services - technical capabilities and functionality of the website that allow You to create a private account, find the necessary Specialist, pay for the Specialist's services and receive their Services in online video consultation mode.
What this contract is about
Inner Space provides the user with the opportunity and rights, using platform services, to find a Specialist and receive their services in online video mode.
Inner Space does not assume responsibility for the quality of services provided by the Specialist and does not guarantee You the desired result, as it depends both on the Specialist's professionalism and on You personally and Your involvement in working with the Specialist.
You agree and confirm that you use (will use) the platform and Specialist's services only personally, for your own needs and do not use (will not use) the platform or Specialist's services on behalf of or in the interests of other persons or organizations.
Please note that:
! only adult, legally capable natural persons are entitled to use the platform and the functions available on it. If you have not reached adulthood, You may not use this platform and Specialist's services.
! Inner Space and our platform do not provide psychological help, consultations or therapy services - these services are provided by Specialists independently, as independent service providers.
! Specialists are independent service providers who are not our employees or subcontractors.
! Inner Space and our platform are not a medical or healthcare institution.
! Inner Space acts only as an intermediary between You and your chosen Specialist, and provides You with the opportunity, using the technical capabilities and functionality of our platform, to find a Specialist and receive their services.
! Psychological help and psychologist services on our platform may only be provided by persons who have obtained the right to perform professional psychologist activities in accordance with the regulations in force in Latvia - a psychologist or clinical psychologist.
! Psychotherapeutic help and psychotherapist services on our platform may only be provided by specialists with higher medical education who have additional education in some direction of psychotherapy.
! Other specialists are entitled to provide consultations in their area of specialization and/or help promote personal growth.
! If You have mental illnesses (depression, suicidal thoughts, panic, generalized anxiety, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorders, bipolar affective disorders, clinically significant sleep disorders, anorexia or bulimia, schizophrenia, etc.) or suspicions of their existence, help may only be provided to You by a Specialist with the category "Psychotherapist" and You undertake to turn only to the relevant medical specialist.
Registration and signing up for Specialist services
To use the platform and receive Specialist services, You need to register on the platform and create your private account. When registering, You must provide your active email address - we will send You a verification link to ensure that You have registered on the platform (no stranger is illegally using Your data).
After successful verification and completion of registration, You will be able to choose one of the Specialists registered on the platform.
If you don't know which Specialist to choose, You can use the psychological tests offered by the platform. All tests are anonymous, which means that the answers given during testing and test results are not linked to Your personality and we will not be able to identify which test and with what results You have taken.
Each Specialist independently determines the time and day when their services are available on the platform. Therefore, not every Specialist will be available at a time convenient for you and You need to choose the most convenient session time for yourself from those offered by the Specialist.
When you have chosen your Specialist and session time, add it to the "shopping cart". You cannot simultaneously sign up for a session with different Specialists.
Your chosen time with the chosen Specialist is reserved for 30 minutes after you have added it to the shopping cart. During these 30 minutes, you need to complete the session registration and make payment. To complete the session registration, click on "Pay". After you have made the payment, You will receive confirmation of your appointment with the Specialist on the chosen day and time. If within thirty (30) minutes you have not completed the session registration and have not made payment, You need to sign up for the session again, but note that in this case the previously chosen time with the specific Specialist may already be taken, and you will have to choose another session time or Specialist.
Service provision procedure
You have the right to reschedule the session to another time or day by notifying about its rescheduling at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session. In this case, the payment for the session is credited towards the next session payment. Note that:
- the session can only be rescheduled to a time and day when the Specialist is available;
- the session can only be rescheduled once; the second time the session can only be canceled in the previously specified manner.
If you notify about the session rescheduling 24 (twenty-four) hours or less than 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session, then the payment for the session is not refunded and is not credited towards the next session payment.
You have the right to refuse the session in the cases and manner specified in the Contract. How, in what cases and in what manner you can use your right of withdrawal, read in the section Right of withdrawal.
24 (twenty-four) hours before the scheduled session time, You will receive a reminder in your email or mobile device (if you have provided your phone number).
At least 5 minutes before the start of the session, You need to connect to your private account and check the stability of the internet connection, the operation of the video camera and microphone, as well as ensure compliance with other technical parameters. Also make sure that nothing will disturb you during the session and distract you from working with the Specialist.
To use the service, You need to ensure that Your device and software meet the following parameters:
- • stable internet connection with at least 10 Mb/s download speed and 3 Mb/s upload speed
- • software and/or computer or laptop operating system is updated to the latest version
- • one of the following browsers is installed on Your computer or laptop: Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Opera
- • Your computer or laptop is equipped with a built-in or external video camera and microphone.
You are strictly prohibited from:
- coming to the session under the influence of alcohol, narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, and
- smoking, using alcohol, narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances during the session, and
- making video and audio recordings of the session, photographing the screen, and
- publishing, publicizing or otherwise using the Specialist's personal data (name, surname, photograph, video recording, audio recording, email, phone number, social media profile, profile picture or name, etc.), and
- turning off the video camera and/or microphone during the session.
If You are late for the scheduled session time, the session time is not extended. If the Specialist is late for the session, that time is extended by the Specialist's delay time.
If for any reason you have missed the session without notifying about its rescheduling or cancellation at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session, then the payment for the session is not refunded and is not credited towards the next session payment.
If the session did not take place due to the Specialist's fault and the Specialist did not warn about the session cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session, then the payment for the session is refunded or credited towards the next session payment.
If the session does not take place due to platform technical failures, then the payment for the session is refunded or credited towards the next session payment.
You are entitled to work with the chosen Specialist only on the platform. Any attempts to contact the Specialist or receive their services outside the platform will be considered a violation of this contract and Your access to the platform may be blocked. You undertake to immediately notify Inner Space of any attempts by the Specialist to contact You or provide You with services outside the platform.
Inner Space carefully selects and checks each Specialist, but is not responsible for the Specialists, their activities and the quality of services provided, as well as for the session results. The Specialist is independently responsible for providing services and their quality.
If You feel that the services provided by the Specialist do not meet your needs or expectations, You have the opportunity to choose another Specialist.
If the Specialist whose services you have used stops using the platform or their profile is deactivated, we will send You an email notification that this Specialist's services are no longer available on the platform and offer to choose another Specialist.
Payment and refunds
Service prices differ depending on the Specialist's qualifications and experience. The Specialist independently sets the price for their services, so it may change. The current price for specialist services can be found in the Specialist's profile.
The user undertakes to pay for the Specialist's services when signing up for a session, before the start of the session. Receiving Specialist services is not possible if payment has not been made.
All payments are made through an online payment processing platform that provides online payment transactions and gives the user the opportunity to pay by bank card on our platform.
! Please note that payments with bank cards from the following countries are not accepted: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Russia and Belarus.
The payment for the session is refunded or credited towards the next session payment:
- if the session did not take place due to the Specialist's fault and the Specialist did not warn You about the session cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session, or
- if the session does not take place due to platform technical failures, then the payment for the session is refunded or credited towards the next session payment, or
- if you have used your right of withdrawal and at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session have refused the session or rescheduled it to another time.
In each mentioned case, you have the right to choose - receive a refund or credit the payment for the failed/canceled session towards the next session payment. If you choose to receive a refund, we will refund the payment for the failed/canceled session within 14 (fourteen) days from the day we were informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed to do otherwise. In any case, you will not be charged any fee in connection with such a refund.
The payment for the session is not refunded or credited towards the next session payment:
- if for any reason you have missed the session without notifying about its rescheduling or cancellation at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session, or
- you came to the session under the influence of alcohol, narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, therefore the Specialist cancels the session.
In all mentioned cases, the payment for the session will be retained as a fee for late cancellation.
Right of withdrawal
Please note that the Specialist's service is explicitly personalized, that is, adapted to Your individual needs and provided on a specific day and during a specific time period.
However, You have the right to refuse the Specialist's service (from the session) by notifying about it at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session. The deadline for using the right of withdrawal expires 23 hours and 59 minutes before the start of the session.
To use the right of withdrawal and notify about your refusal of the Specialist's service (from the session), You must inform us - Inner Space - with an unambiguous statement. You can notify about using the right of withdrawal or about your refusal of the session in your private account, or by sending a message to email: [to be specified], or using the form on our website https://theinnerspace.online/service_cancellation.
If you send your notification about using the right of withdrawal using your private account or the form on our website https://theinnerspace.online/service_cancellation, we will immediately notify you by email of confirmation of receipt of such withdrawal.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient if you send your notification about using the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period, that is, no later than 23 hours and 59 minutes before the start of the session.
You can no longer use your right of withdrawal if:
- You have been sent a reminder about the scheduled session (it is sent 24 hours before the scheduled session start time), or
- you signed up for a session less than 24 (twenty-four) hours before the start of the scheduled session and have clearly agreed and confirmed to lose the right of withdrawal.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the session, you have the right to choose - receive a refund or credit the payment for the canceled session towards the next session payment. If you choose to receive a refund, we will refund the payment for the failed/canceled session within 14 (fourteen) days from the day we were informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed to do otherwise. In any case, you will not be charged any fee in connection with such a refund.
Contact information, communication and complaints

We may send you notifications in connection with this Contract, use of the platform or changes in documents to your specified email address, or by publishing them on our website https://theinnerspace.online. The date of receipt of the relevant notification is considered the date when such notification was sent. Notifications addressed to us should be sent to email: [to be specified].
If You believe that the Specialist is acting unethically or otherwise violating ethical, moral or behavioral norms, You have the right to file a complaint by sending it to us at email: [to be specified].
We will try to review your complaint within 30 days of receipt. If the complaint review requires more time, we will inform you. Inner Space reserves the right to review your complaint in accordance with applicable regulations, this distance contract and website terms of use.
Amendments and Termination of the Agreement
The Inner Space reserves the right to unilaterally amend this Agreement and/or the services or functionality of the platform at any time, by notifying the user via email or by publishing the changes on our website https://theinnerspace.online.
The user has the right to terminate this Agreement at any time by sending a termination notice to info@theinnerspace.online. The Agreement will be terminated immediately upon receipt of the notice, and we will, without undue delay, delete the user’s account and related information, except for information required to comply with applicable legislation, including but not limited to data retention obligations in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
If, at the time of termination, the user has a session with a Specialist scheduled for a date after the termination, the user is obliged to cancel the respective booking in the manner described in the section Withdrawal Rights.
The Inner Space has the right to unilaterally terminate this Agreement, delete the user’s profile on the website and/or block access to the private account and Specialist services if the user violates the terms of this Agreement.
This Agreement will be terminated and your profile/private account on our website will be deleted if you have not used the platform for one year (have not logged in, have not used Specialist services). One month before the deletion of your profile, you will receive a notification by email.
